The client is a well-known insurance firm based in San Francisco, California, that offers a wide range of insurance products, including home, auto, and life insurance. The organisation is recognised for its customer-focused approach and commitment to offering dependable insurance solutions.

Key Challenges:

The old claims management system was inefficient, resulting in processing delays and higher operating expenses.
Integrating multiple data sources to build a single claims processing platform was difficult and resource-intensive.
Ensuring data security and compliance with industry requirements like GDPR and HIPAA was vital, but difficult with the present technology.
Real-time monitoring and tracking of claim status across several channels and departments was necessary, but the existing infrastructure did not allow for this.
Manual claim data input and verification techniques were time-consuming and prone to errors.
The present system lacked the scalability to manage an increasing number of claims and users.

Solution:

1. Discovery and Planning

The system was deployed on AWS to benefit from cloud scalability and security.
